So as some of you may have heard, We are gearing up to get a Steam release put together! It's been a huge undertaking for our small team but the production has been going well and we wanted to share some exciting plans! 
 

I wanted to share with you all a few of the changes we have made and give some sneak previews of where we are at! This is all still very early but a little bit of sprucing up here and there -- and before you know it we will be releasing!
 

Firstly, We have a new website! This website is going to be a great midway for us to have users be able to navigate easily to a non-steam version -- if they don't use steam (such as my parents, who would want the app but not steam). This website and discord will both contain all our update posts and FAQ, for accessibility sake!

Now.. onto the bigger part of this post which is our newest revamp of Catpanion and the upcoming release! We have a lot of new changes and features coming that I think you'll be excited about.
 

Coming to the new release:

• All new stories for adoption! Catpanions will now have unique personalities with their own tailored stories.,
• Angel Cat (a new system to hand pick your Catpanion -- to allow you to bring the memory of a beloved pet to the game <3),
• Catpanion Care Systems (Feed, Water, Love.. Make sure you tend to them!),
• Updated Cat Sprites (new cats and new animations! this also means more interactions!),
• Toys! We are starting off with a few toys (namely a pencil and ball of yarn) that your Catpanions will be able to play with!,
• A new closet system (used for storing toys, food and supplies, and some other items!),
• A completely revamped settings menu (lots more options for you to customize your experiences!),
• Ability to restrict the play area (selecting monitor, setting borders, and even scaling!),
• The ability to toggle cats (now if you have multiple cats, you can choose which ones are visible.. One of them or ALL OF THEM)

 

But what about steam? Well of course we didn't forget about that!
Steam Features (Not available in base version):

• Cloud Saving (steam cloud),
• Steam Achievements,
• Automatic Updates

 

And finally.. CLOTHING! Yes you will be able to get clothing to dress up your Catpanions on both version! There will be limited selection on the base game and more available on the steam version! More info to come -- It's still a bit too early to show that off.
